In the field of HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION AND INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE we are:
For YOUTH PARTICIPATION AND DEMOCRATIC CITIZENSHIP, we work by showing how to make maximum use of the Internet in order to influence democratic structures and processes on the local, national and the international level. We also act for making/keeping the World Wide Web democratic inclusive, transparent, free and open for everyone.
In the field of SOCIAL COHESION AND INCLUSION OF YOUNG PEOPLE we are:
When it comes to the YOUTH POLICY DEVELOPMENT, we are developing innovative approaches to training, international cooperation and research. We are continuously improving an open source, human based system for translation of any web-content, that already resulted in truly multilingual (10 to 28-lingual) websites translated to minority languages as well as the "big" national languages. That system doesn't only encourage multilingualism, it even enables real time international cooperation on developing and translating website content. One of our 2008 projects is a tool package for research on youth on the Internet, another one is a campaign for celebrating the UN's International Year of the Language that will include a variety of local "offline" projects and developing new ways for promotion of language rights and multilingualism as well as for using language learning as a trigger for intercultural dialogue and intercultural learning.
